Full refund before Day 1.
We hold the cohort small by design and prefer that students who reserve a seat are committed to attending. The refund rules below are written to be fair to applicants who change their mind early and unambiguous for everyone after the cohort begins.
Before Day 1 of the cohort
A full refund is available at any point before Day 1 of the cohort begins. Email hello@thefoundersweb.com with the order ID; the refund is processed via Cashfree to the original payment method. The amount typically reaches the source account within 5–7 working days, depending on the issuing bank.
After Day 1
Once Day 1 has commenced, the tuition is non-refundable. The cohort schedule is fixed and the seat reservation is binding from that point. This applies whether the student attends one session, several, or none — the cohort cannot be re-allocated mid-programme.
If your bank debited but the seat wasn't reserved
Occasionally a payment is debited but the gateway fails to confirm the order — usually a network hiccup at checkout. In that case the seat is not held. The bank typically auto-reverses the debit within 5–7 working days. If the amount has not been credited back by then, write to us with the bank reference number and we'll escalate it with Cashfree on your behalf.
If we cancel the cohort
In the rare event we cancel a cohort — for instance because intake is below the minimum needed to run a useful cohort — every applicant receives a full refund, including any payment-gateway charges. We notify by email the moment a cancellation is decided.
The Day 11 Build-off
The Day 11 Build-off is optional and bundled into the cohort tuition. Skipping the Build-off does not change the tuition or generate a partial refund.
How to request a refund
Email hello@thefoundersweb.com with:
- Your order ID (from the confirmation email)
- The registered student name
- The reason, optional but appreciated for our records
We acknowledge refund requests within one working day and complete them within seven.
